Making a Purchase

To make a purchase browse through the online shop and find your favourite preserve; then click on the ‘Add To Cart’ icon next to your chosen product. A running total will be visible next to the shopping trolley icon at the top of the page until you checkout. Once you have made your selections, click on the shopping trolley icon (top right of the page) and click on ‘Checkout’. Your selected products and total price will appear and you will be invited to complete your payment and delivery details. You will be able to review and edit your order at this stage. Delivery charges are automatically calculated and added to your order – see below for postage and packing details. All of our products are made seasonally and are subject to availability. We do our best to ensure that stock levels are updated on the website, but in the event that any item added to your order is not available we will contact you to review your order.

Once you place your order, we will review it and put it through for processing. If we notice any missing information or anticipate any issues, we will get in touch with you to ask further questions.

Making a Payment

All prices quoted are in British Pounds (sterling). Payment is taken either via bank transfer directly to our Santander business bank account or via PayPal at the time of ordering and no account or card details are retained or stored by us. The following cards are able to be processed via PayPal and you will be able to pay even if you don’t have a PayPal account: American Express, Maestro, Mastercard, Visa.

As your payment is processed via a fully authorised payment service all your information remains totally confidential. In fact we never see any of the card or account numbers ourselves.

Delivery

Postage and Packaging charges are as follows (UK Mainland only):

  • £3.95 for orders up to £30.00
  • Free delivery will be provided for all orders over £30.00.

We are happy to post to addresses outside of the UK Mainland – please contact us for a quote before ordering.
We aim to dispatch all orders within three working days (except Wedding Favours and other bespoke orders) and deliveries will be made via either Royal Mail or UK Mail next day courier service. We aim to dispatch all wedding favours and bespoke orders within 2 weeks and will negotiate an anticipated dispatch date with you when we receive your enquiry.

It is important to provide accurate contact or delivery details to ensure timely delivery. If delivery details are incorrect we are unable to accept liability for failed or late deliveries. We are unable to accept liability for missing items in the event that nobody is available to receive the order at the delivery address and they are left with a neighbour.

Cancellations, Returns & Refunds

We hope you will be completely happy with the products you have chosen, but under the terms of the Distance Selling Directive if you change your mind you may cancel all or part of your order within 14 days of receiving the items. We are only able to accept returns if the products are unopened and undamaged. If you are returning an item because you have changed your mind you will need to pay the return delivery charge, but as soon as the returned products are received we will refund the full amount that you have paid (including the original delivery charge). We are unable to accept proof of postage as proof of receipt for the goods, so you are strongly advised to use a postal service with adequate tracking and insurance cover. The refund will be only issued if the products are received by us and are in a good condition.

We make every effort to ensure the products you have chosen reach you in perfect condition. If the products arrive damaged or are not as ordered we will replace them or issue a refund for the full amount including the original delivery charge. If you wish to make a claim you must notify Jam Packed Preserves Limited within 3 days of receiving the items on 020 8394 1556 or [email protected]. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.

Alcohol Policy

A very few of our products contain alcohol. We are unable to supply these to anyone under the age of 18 years. By placing an order for a product containing alcohol (e.g. Tipsy Seville Marmalade), you are confirming that you are over 18.

We reserve the right to change or discontinue the service, products or the prices (or any content thereof) at any time and without giving any notice.
