Strawberry and Rhubarb Extra Jam
Another taste of summer, but slightly less sweet than strawberry on its own – a lovely combination that can be used instead of strawberry in cakes, tarts or in the quintessentially English cream tea.
All of our jams are extra jams, having more fruit in than typical supermarket brands. An extra jam has to have a minimum of 45g fruit per 100g product and must be made from whole fruit. Each of our jams is made seasonally and we use hand-picked, locally sourced ingredients wherever possible. We use granulated cane sugar in all of our jams and do not add any artificial flavours, preservatives or sweeteners.
Our jams have a best before date one year from the date of production and will be fine kept in a cupboard, larder or other cool, dark, dry place for many months; once opened they should be refrigerated and used within 3-4 weeks.
